Children's Feet

The feet of children are unique in the way that, not only are they growing and developing almost continually until the teenage years, they are also subjected to forces from changes to the general posture and skeleton as it develops.

As the supporting structure of the body, the child’s foot needs to be able to adapt to these body changes and with active lifestyles coupled with growth, this creates constantly changing conditions for kid’s feet.

This can result in injury, infection and biomechanical problems impacting the entire body and can sometimes carry through into adulthood.

At PodCo Podiatry we understand these unique challenges that children’s bodies face and are here to help with advice and treatment for all little feet.
